Upon certification completion, you will receive your official Ke Kō certificate, be entered as a Ke Kō Certified Sugarist in a worldwide Sugarist Database, given access to social media support groups. Meet Brit Essency!
Brit is a licensed esthetician, licensed esthetics instructor, and sugaring educator who has been redefining client-centered skincare since 2019.
Her expertise spans advanced sugaring hair removal (including 3 national and 1 international CIDESCO certification, along with numerous specialty courses), trauma-informed care, skin of color treatments, sensitive skin management, neurodiverse client care, and inclusive, respectful skincare practices tailored to each individual’s needs.
Brit also holds advanced certifications in dermaplaning, microneedling, oncology skincare, Eyes on Cancer, microdermabrasion, crystal healing facials, Dermalogica professional treatments, lash extensions, and premade volume lash extensions.
As an educator with thousands of hours of hands-on experience, Brit has served hundreds of clients, trained more than 25 new sugarists, and introduced over 500 students to sugaring through professional school demonstrations. Her dedication to excellence has been recognized through Skin & Makeup Honors and a place on the Dean’s List at Paul Mitchell The School Richland.
Known for her balance of professionalism and personality, Brit brings her love of quirky wall art and rock ’n’ roll music into everything she does—reminders that individuality and self-expression are essential parts of beauty.

Our Courses
Essentials 1 Day Plus+
One day with one of our skilled instructors getting in all the technique work! Get stuck and unstuck as many times as you can! The rest via our Online Certification Program. Best of both worlds. We even offer group discounts.
2 Day Advanced
This course is an all-encompassing two day sugaring extravaganza. We love this option for getting stuck and frustrated on Day 1, sleeping on it, and coming back fresh the next day! You'll spend a few hours on theory, followed by lots and lots of hours practicing your skills with various models. Depending on the progress of students involved, a brazilian demo or model may be available.
Body Sugaring Online
Who says you can't learn to sugar online?! COVID may have hit us, but it only proved how incredibly adaptable we are. Having now hosted over 1000 students in our online program, we can say that Ke Kō sugarists are a whole different breed! Knowledgeable, adaptable, professional, and ready for any client on the treatment table. And don't worry, you're still working one-on-one with our Director of Education to perfect your skills.
How does our online program work?
Our online program is comprehensive and interactive, covering everything from sugaring theory, safety, and sanitation to practical application. This isn’t just a series of videos and quizzes—you’ll receive hands-on coaching, working one-on-one with our Director of Education to refine your sugaring technique.
You’ll also have access to a wealth of resources and a community of fellow practitioners, supporting everything from skill development to business growth. Upon completing the main course, you can take the exam and access body-specific tutoring videos with additional guidance for areas ranging from brows to toes.
Our online platform also includes a chat feature where you can ask questions and share insights with educators and fellow students. Once you’ve completed the program, your online dashboard remains accessible, allowing you to revisit materials and refresh your skills whenever needed.
